RTV-2 polycondensation mold making silicone
Description & Operating Instruction
RTV-TWO molding silicone rubber (silicon) and silicon are generally named as two-part room temperature polycondensation silicone rubber, Part A is a flowable liquid, part B is the curing agent. It features an exceptional fluidity and good operability. When mixed with 2%-3% curing agent, they can still be operated within 30 minutes, but will be formed after 2-3 hours. With resistance to deformation, high temperature, acid and alkali, and expansion, silicon flexible molds are used for mold duplication and delicate mold making for poly crafts, resin crafts, lighting and candle crafts. These products are for large quantity product duplication.

Applications of RTV-2 molding silicone rubber
RTV-2 molding silicon rubber is mainly applied For making moulds and reproduction of objects of complex form with deep undercuts casting molds. such as reproduction of poly resin, epoxy, polyurethane-polymer, plaster, gypsum, soaps, candle & lighting, architecture, decorative article and craftwork, plastic toy, gift and stationery, big statue, cultural relic product, etc..

Packing: 25kg , 200k per drum with tin catalyst for free charge if the catalyst mixing ratio is 100:2 to 100:5.
(Note: our company does not recommend you to add silicone oil. If a special soft silicon mold or fine detailed and complex patterns products are required, 5%-10% silicone oil can be added to soften the mold for easy demould.)
The proportions and reactions of the curing agent and the silicon are listed as follows:
1. Adding curing agent 1%, the silicone can still be operated within 2.5 hours and can be demoulded after 6-8 hours.
2. Adding curing agent 2%, the silicone can still be operated within 50 minutes to 1 hour and can be demoulded after 2-3 hours.
3. Adding curing agent 3%, the silicone can still be operated within 28 - 30 minutes and can be demoulded after 1.5-2 hours.
4. Adding curing agent 4%, the silicone can still be operated within 10 - 15 minutes and can be demoulded after 1 -1.5 hours.
