"I loved the rich mix the Journalism program provided. I could indulge and develop my interest in history, literature and economics and then spend the afternoon chasing a news story in downtown Toronto." - Journalism graduate Dana Robbins, now Editor-in-Chief of the Hamilton Spectator.

90% + is the employment rate at two years after graduation for a large number of Ryerson undergraduate programs.

"The curriculum was quite broad, so I was exposed to many facets of engineering. It was a good balance of theory and practice. The educational background students receive at Ryerson makes it easier for them to adjust to the business world." - Mechanical Engineering graduate Todd Young, Vice-President and General Manager, Turboprops Bombardier Aerospace - Regional Aircraft.

$100 million is the target of Ryerson's Invest In Futures fundraising campaign. A significant portion of funds raised will be directed to student learning and financial needs; improving and upgrading academic and innovative program initiatives; and towards new facilities.

"Ryerson really armed me with the skills to do the kind of work I wanted to do. The practical, hands-on placements in downtown Toronto that we were thrown into after our first months of classes really taught me how to do my job." - Faculty of Community Services graduate Jan Yorke, now at Georgian College teaching Canadian politics at the Justice and Public Safety Institute, Orillia, Ontario.

Approximately 19,000 full-time undergraduate students, and 600 graduate students are currently enrolled at Ryerson.

"Ryerson was a great preparation for what I'm doing now. I learned all about running a business at Ryerson - all the stuff I'm using for my business now came from Ryerson..." - Fashion School graduate Anna Chan, now founder and owner of her own accessories company, featuring her line IMOOI.

$10 million is the amount of annual funded research at Ryerson, which is more than a four-fold increase compared with a decade ago.

Five new graduate programs have recently been introduced at Ryerson, including Master's programs in Photographic Preservation and Collections Management, and Immigration and Settlement Studies; and PhD programs in Civil, Electrical and Computer, and Mechanical Engineering.
